Alessandro Michele has just launched a fun capsule in response to the luxury counterfeit market. Gucci Fake / Not, a range of clothing and accessories with the words "fake" and "not" stamped on them. An ironic tribute to the quintessential code of the brand, its logo. A humorous and provocative collection in relation to fakes.
The Fake / Not capsule is inspired by the appropriation of logos, which began in the eighties and continues to this day. The objective of this action is to give a message, Gucci's language is not based only on offering high-end fashion, but also on offering a more attractive offer mixing different worlds. The "Fake Not" motif is integrated both in suitcases and accessories as well as in garments.
On the luggage, made of GG Supreme material, the words "fake" and "not" each appear on one side of the product. Suitcases, handbags, backpacks and fanny packs that incorporate the red-green bicolor stripe. The same design also adorns smaller pieces such as purses and cases and accessories such as caps, shoes, capes and even socks.
