Balmain launches “Fracture”, his first TV series.

Balmain has just announced the premiere of a mini drama series that will star Tommy Dorfman. And of course, the entire cast will wear only Balmain looks from its Fall-Winter 2021 collection.

In this way, the Olivier Rousteing-directed brand cuts out the middleman. That is to say, instead of lending its garments to be worn by the characters in a series, Balmain is betting on creating its own TV series. This is the first time that a fashion house has undertaken a project of this magnitude with a television channel (Channel 4). Rousteing himself was in charge of announcing this event through his Instagram account.

The Fracture series will star Tommy Dorfman and the cast will include Charles Melton, singer Jesse Jo Stark and Ajani Russell. The project also represents Tommy's first role since coming out as a transgender woman this summer. The trailer is here and reveals that the story begins in a motel called Le Rêve.

In total there will be five episodes that will air via IGTV, and each will be eight minutes long. The first of them will be released this coming September 2.
