Kim Jones, creative director of Dior Men, has just been chosen to play the same role in Fendi's women's haute couture, ready-to-wear and leather collections.

Jones joins Fendi to work alongside Silvia Venturini Fendi, the third generation of the Italian family, who is in charge of the firm's men's and leather goods collections.

He is considered one of the most influential figures in street style and his career includes the creative direction of Louis Vuitton, where he was in charge of the men's line from 2011 until January 2018.

His first collection in his new home will be Fall-Winter 21/22, which will be presented during Milan Fashion Week in February.

It should be remembered that Fendi's artistic direction was in the hands of Karl Lagerfeld for 54 years, until the death of the German designer in February 2019.
