New sneakers Adidas X Angel Chen.

Chinese designer of the moment and star of Next In Fashion (Netflix), Angel Chen, has once again teamed up with Adidas to release three reinterpreted versions of some of the German brand's classics.

We start with Chen's take on the Superstar 80s. Designed in core black and icey pink, both pairs combine a full suede upper with leather detailing featuring Adidas' iconic three stripes. The sneaker's signature rubber toe cap is seamlessly integrated into the sole joint, which is where the biggest change to the Superstar 80s can be found.

On the outsole, the designer has used her own classic-futuristic hybrid style to implant tooth-shaped details around the sole, making it the exclusive motif of this collaboration.

The star of this collab is the SL7600 model. For this shoe, Chen uses a colour palette that combines dark blue, off-white and cloud white with touches of red, neon green and ice blue, making for a bold and very retro pair of sneakers.
